Let's Talk Basics.#1. The favorite Tee

Hi girls,
Let's talk basics, shall we? If I told you there was a magic little number of pieces to keep in your wardrobe would you believe me? If I said that having these specific items in your closet would solve all your morning hassle of getting ready would you listen? If I told you keeping 14 pairs of underwear and throwing out the rest of them could solve your clutter problems would you laugh? I would.
Let me introduce to you, the basic white tee! GASP! Okay I know you've already been introduced, but seriously how many times a week do the two of you have an encounter, not enough. I understand if you want to tell me you're not a 'white' kind of girl, I do have breaking news there is a cousin yes, a cousin the basic black tee, YIPPIE!

V-Neck Tee – $15.50 at American Eagle

I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of a top more versatile or essential for daytime than the slouchy basic tee. It keeps you cool when it’s hot out, layers perfectly under everything, never looks too dressy and can be worn a million different ways. Even better, if you’re shopping on a budget, you can’t get more budget friendly than the slouchy basic tee shirt.
White is in, but when did it really ever leave? If I only had two choices of items to have in my closet, it would be a great fitting white tee, and then a toss-up between my black high heels and favorite jeans. White tees can be integrated into any wardrobe, style or trend. So take a deep breath and be excited! You probably have a bunch of outfits in your wardrobe right now that you are probably not making good use of, but hey you will be soon. Check some outfits inspirations below.

As I mentioned earlier, the 'white tee' has a cousin and now I'd like to introduce you to her sister, the white collared tee. White collared tee is often looked at as something you only wear to the office or boardroom meeting, but this casual little pleasure can take any outfit from plain to casual and beautiful with ease. When looking for basic white tees, collared or not, look for great details like pockets, buttons, and stitching, as all these add up for extra style points. Check out some of these great outfits with the 'white collared tee'.

We can all agree the trends of the basics are awesome! Time saving and money saving. Most importantly have fun and spice it up to be your own, don't forget accessories!

Summer is all about peaches!

Hi girls,

This is my latest obsession - peach shades; perfect for summer!
Left to right: Nail Polish Orly-Cotton Candy, (Lipstick) Revlon-Peach Silk, Blush- Bare Mineral in Vintage Peach, Eye shadow-MAC in Expensive Pink and Perfume-Very Hollywood by Michael Kors.
1-Orly Cotton Candy
This nail polish is so pretty and perfect for every day and work appropriate. I think this color goes great with every skin tone from fair to dark. I am impressed with the consistency of this nail polish, is so creamy, two coats do the job. I am sure you can find similar colors in other brands, OPI, Essie and Sally Hansen.

2- Mineral Blush by Bare Minerals in Vintage Peach
This blush is a peachy pink with light shimmer, it creates a soft, radiant glow, perfect for all skin tones. This blush is a 100 percent pure bareMinerals meaning that does not contain any type of chemical and therefore it will not clog your pores and good for those with sensitive and problem-prone skin. The only dislike is about the packaging , you have to be careful with the container it can be messy and can easily spill all over.

3-Revlon Creme Lipstick in Peach Silk#704
On my hand: Revlon Creme Lipstick in Peach Silk#704

This peachy Coral lipstick is out of this world. I am impressed with the quality of Revlon lipstick; it is creamy and pigmented. To complement this lipstick, very neutral eye shadow (beiges, light peach/pinks) or and a lot mascara, please skip heavy black eyeliner, instead go for a brown.

4-MAC Eyeshadow in Expensive Pink

I love this eye shadow! Don't get fool by the name, this is not pink at all, it is more a peachy gold, not too orange. After reading the reviews, I was a bit leery when I went to buy it, but I did it anyway and I'm so glad I did! It is gorgeous on me. I can understand why people wouldn't like this shade because I do think it is very skin tone specific, like medium to dark skin tones. It looks so nice all over the lid with a bit of black liquid liner. Simple but very pretty for spring and summer :)

5-Michael Kors- Very Hollywood (1.7 FL)

Very Hollywood is the latest perfume for women from Michael Kors. It’s meant to evoke the idea of Hollywood glamour: the bottle (see detail above) recalls the flashbulbs on old-style cameras, and the ad spot features “stars” surrounded by paparazzi on the red carpet.
This is one of my favorite scents. I get so many compliments when I wear this perfume; the smell is light for summer but not too light where you can’t smell it. It's sparkly, sweet, flowery, and fruity. Appropriate for women of all ages.

I want to know your favorite products for summer?

With love,

Margarita

Hi girls,  I hope everyone is enjoying this new week, hopefully no more hurricanes or earthquakes.

This is my new blog, and I want to talk about the things we girls love, makeup, perfumes, and nail polish.
I love spring and summer, I felt very inspired by all the beautiful colors of the season, like the corals, peaches, oranges, blues and greens.

So this past weekend, my lovely husband took me out to Ulta to get a couple of very special nail polishes that I've been hunting for along time.

I love my New Blog

NARS Super orgasm illuminator
